A place where artists, ideas, and dreams meet, where art breaks down walls and builds bridges, and you can be part of this story.

Located in Ciudad Acuña, on the border between Mexico and the United States, MACCA is a museum under construction that seeks to become a binational cultural landmark.
Much more than a gallery, it will be a living space where contemporary art inspires, educates, and connects people with their surroundings.
What will MACCA contribute?

Art education
for children, young people and visitors.

Environmental regeneration
with natural spaces and reforestation.

Social cohesion and community ,
through workshops and open events.

Regional and cultural identity ,
celebrating local and border art.

Local economic development,
attracting tourism and new opportunities.
Meet the artist
Gustavo Ramos Rivera, born in 1940 in Ciudad Acuña, is the creative artist and heart of the MACCA project. His work explores a profound tension between Mexican tradition and a universal vision, constructed through sensorial pictorial processes and materials such as tar, which reveal layers of personal history and memory.
Since the 1980s, he has developed his own pictorial language, moving from dense tar canvases to more luminous, gestural, and abstract compositions that evoke movement and spatial perception.
